Tourism In Gorontalo
Guide      : Good morning every body, welcome to Dream Agency . I’m Lilis,I will be your guide in this                      beautiful   moment . Now, we are
                      in Gorontalo and today we are going to visit Otanaha Fort and Tumbilotohe Park.
                      For The first decision, we will go to the Otanaha Fort.
Anggun    : hm,,Miss. Lilis,,how long will our travel take to the Otanaha from Airport?
Guide        : We would travel about 20 km for 1 hour.
Vina           :Will we get some meal for our travel?
Guide        : Of course , Don’t worry , we have prepared it.

At Otanaha Forthress

Guide        : Ladies and Gentleman , we have arrrived in Otanaha Fort
                      It  has 4 rest stops and 348 pieces to the top of the stairs up to the location of the fort.
`Nisa          : How wonderful it is . I had never  seen it  before.
Vina           : The temperature is so hot . I dislike this situation . Can we go to another place ,please !!
Rindiya     : It’s O.K, my dear. it’s not big problem for us ..
Putri          : Then what will see when we reach the top?
Guide        : We can see  good view from this fort , we can see Otohiya and Hulupalu fortresses
                   


At second place ..

Guide        : Okay, every body, Welcome to great festival on Ramadhan month, it’s named Tumbilotohe festival..!
Anggun    : Wow , this festival is very amazing !! .
                      It must have  a great history behind of this, so can you show us?
Guide         :The people blazing the lights at  Ramadhan, because it is viscous with values of religion.    And this tradition was born because past blazing the lights for light the street. The tradition of lighting the kerosene lamp at the end of Ramadan, Full of  religious values,further  tradition arose because the people of Gorontalo at a time lit the traditional lamp, to illuminate the streets to the mosque. In every celebration of that tradition, masyarajat voluntarily turned on the light and provide kerosene, tumbilotohe Tradition continues to grow in the middle of the pros and cons among the people, and even they are often held in the form of festivals. In the past, they intended to facilitate the implementation Tumbilotohe Muslims give Zakah Al-Fitr in the evening. At that time, lights were still made of resin and tree sap that can burn for a long time. When the decrease in resin, then the material is changed with lighting, palm oil (padalama) and then replaced with kerosene.


Rindhya    :They do it until now?
Guide        :Yes.Because its traditional haritage .
Rindhya    :Oh…It’s really good habitation, the society here  completely respects  the original culture, I love it, so did it ever get an award?
Guide         :ya, In 2007, "tumbilotohe"was recorded the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI), for 5,000,000 (five millions), the lights brighten the tradition.
Nisa           :Oh,ya.Can u tell me what does mean of Tumbilotohe?
Guide       :Absoluttely.Tumbilotohe is from Gorontalo’s language. Tumbilotohe in Gorontalo, namely                    mean tide, and tohe means light. Tumbilotohe means tide event lighting. According to history, tradition Gorontalo Tumbilotohe a past that has been going on since the 15th century AD This tradition is carried on 3 last night before the day of the Eid, which is on 27 to 30 of Ramadan, from sunset till morning.
Putri    : Are there handcraft store here?
Guide        :Yes,of course.You can find it in there.You have to walk 50 meters  from here and turn right.
                     If you want to go shopping I’ll give you one hour.And I’ll be waiting for you back.Ok?
